Nothing Compares 2 U

April 21, 2016

I wrote this comic as a reaction to the news of the late Prince’s death. This comic highlights the various memories in my life involving Prince. I am hoping to have this printed as a tiny comic for Chicago Zine Fest. Hope you enjoy.

New relief prints!

April 12, 2016

I recently attended the Southern Graphics Council International Printmaking Conference in Portland, OR, which has me all kinds of inspired about printmaking. Recently I have been working on some new prints that i’d like to share.

Poppies is a two color linocut print of red California Poppies. I created this print out of my love for poppies, and as a part of a larger series of relief prints on flowers and plants.

Nestor // Black Cat, is a two color woodcut reduction print, inspired by the 9 month old kitten who lives at my house, Nestor. I am still relatively new to woodcuts, and I wanted to experiment with some new carving tools I got at SGC from McClain’s Printmaking.
